Lucifer's Rebellion - ~Jesus Absolute Power and Rule in Heaven and on Earth~

The Fifth Revelation Paper 53-

{Michael is the Paradise name of the son of the Universal Father known to you as Jesus.} 

The Lucifer Rebellion 

(601.1) 53:0.1 LUCIFER was a brilliant primary Lanonandek Son of Nebadon. 

 He had served in many systems, had been a high counselor of his group, and was distinguished for wisdom, sagacity, and efficiency. 

Lucifer was number 37 of his order, and when commissioned by the Melchizedeks, he was distinguished as one of the hundred most able and brilliant personalities among more than seven hundred thousand of his kind. 

 From such magnificent beginnings, through evil and error, he embraced sin and is now numbered as one of the three System Sovereigns in Nebadon who succumbed to the impulse of self and surrendered to the sophistry of spurious personal liberty-the rejection of universal loyalty and the neglect of fraternal obligations, the blindness to cosmic relationships. 

(601.2) 53:0.2 In the universe of Nebadon, the domain of Christ Michael, there are ten thousand inhabited world systems. 

 In all the history of the Lanonandek Sons, in all their work throughout these thousands of systems and on the universe headquarters, only three System Sovereigns have ever been found in contempt of the Creator Son's rule and government. 

1. The Leaders of the Rebellion 

(53:1.1 Lucifer was not an ascender; he was a created Son of the local universe, and of him it was said: "You were perfect in all your ways from the day you were created until unrighteousness was found in you. 

 Many times he had been in council with the Most Highs of Edentia. 

 And Lucifer reigned "over the sacred mountain of God," the administrative mountain of Jerusem, because he was the chief executive of a great system of 607 inhabited worlds. 

(601.4) 53:1.2 Lucifer was a magnificent being, a brilliant personality; he was next to the Most High Fathers of the constellation in the direct line of universe authority. 

 Notwithstanding Lucifer's transgression, prior to Michael's bestowal on earth the subordinate intelligences avoided disrespecting and disdaining him. 

 Even Michael's archangel, at the time of Moses' resurrection, "did not pass judgment against him, but simply said, 'The Judge rebuke thee.'" 

 Judgment in such matters belongs to the Ancients of Days, the rulers of the superuniverse. 

(601.5) 53:1.3 Lucifer is now the fallen and deposed Sovereign of Satania. 

 Self-contemplation is most disastrous, even to the exalted personalities of the celestial world. 

 Of Lucifer it was said, "Thy heart was lifted up by thy beauty; thy splendor corrupted thy wisdom." 

Your ancient prophet saw this sad state when he wrote: "How art thou fallen from the heavens, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cast down, thou who didst dare to confound the worlds!" 

(602.1) 53:1.4 Very little was heard of Lucifer on earth due to the fact that he assigned his first helper, Satan, to plead his cause on your planet. 

 Satan was part of the same primary group as Lanonandek but had never acted as System Sovereign; he participated fully in Lucifer's insurrection. 

 The "devil" is none other than Caligastia, the deposed Planetary Prince of Earth and a Son of Lanonandek's secondary order. 

When Michael (Jesus) was on Earth in the flesh, Lucifer, Satan and Caligastia allied to precipitate the failure of the bestowal mission. 

 But clearly they failed. 

(53:1.5 Abaddon was the chief of Caligastia's staff. 

He followed his chief in the rebellion and has since acted as chief executive of the rebels on earth. 

Beelzebub was the leader of the disloyal midwayers who allied themselves with the forces of the treacherous Caligastia. 

(53:1.6 The dragon eventually became the symbolic representation of all these evil characters. 

 When Michael (Jesus) triumphed, "Gabriel came down from Salvington and chained the dragon (all rebel leaders) for an age." 

 Of the seraphic rebels of Jerusem it has been written, "And the angels who did not keep their primary state but forsook their own abode, he secured with strong chains of darkness until the judgment of the great day." 

2. The Causes of the Rebellion 

(53:2.1 Lucifer and his first assistant, Satan, had reigned on Jerusem for over five hundred thousand years when in their hearts they began to align themselves against the Universal Father and his then vicegerent Son Michael. 

(53:2.2 There were no peculiar or special conditions in the Satania system which suggested or favored rebellion. 

 We believe that the idea originated and formed in the mind of Lucifer, and that he could have instigated such a rebellion regardless of where he was stationed. 

 Lucifer first announced his plans to Satan, but it took several months for Satan to be converted to the rebel theories, he became a bold and enthusiastic advocate of "self-assertion and freedom." 

(602.6) 53:2.3 No one ever suggested to Lucifer the idea of rebellion. 

 The idea of self-assertion, in opposition to Michael's will and the plans of the Universal Father, as presented by Michael, originated in his own mind. 

His relations with the Creator Son had been intimate and always cordial. 

 At no time prior to the exaltation of his own mind did Lucifer openly express dissatisfaction with regard to the administration of the universe. 

In spite of his silence, for over one hundred years of standard time, the Union of Days on Salvington had been reflecting to Uversa that peace did not fully reign in Lucifer's mind. 

This information was also communicated to the Creator Son and the Constellation Fathers of Norlatiadek. 

(53:2.4 Throughout this period Lucifer became increasingly critical of the total plan of universe administration, but he always professed sincere loyalty to the Supreme Rulers. 

 His first open disloyalty was manifested on the occasion of a visit by Gabriel to Jerusem, just a few days before the open proclamation of the Luciferian Declaration of Liberty. 

 Gabriel was so deeply impressed by the certainty of an approaching rupture that he went directly to Edentia to confer with the Constellation Fathers on the measures to be employed in the event of open rebellion. 

(53:2.5 It is very difficult to pinpoint the exact cause or causes which finally culminated in the Lucifer rebellion. We are only sure of one thing, and that is: Whatever these beginnings were, they originated in the mind of Lucifer. 

 There must have been a vainglory of self that was nurtured to the point of self-deception, so that Lucifer, for a period, truly convinced himself that his rebellious idea would actually redound to the good of the system, if not of the entire universe. 

 By the time his plans had led him to disenchantment, he was no doubt in too deep for his original and damaging pride to allow him to stop. 

 At some point during this experience he became insincere, and evil evolved into deliberate, willful sin. That this was so is proved by the subsequent conduct of this brilliant executive. 

 For a long time he was offered the opportunity to repent, but only a few of his subordinates accepted the mercy offered. 

 The Faithful of Days of Edentia, at the request of the Constellation Fathers, personally presented Michael's plan for the salvation of these flagrant rebels, but the mercy of the Creator Son was always refused and rejected with increasing contempt and disdain.

3. The Lucifer Manifesto 

(603.2) 53:3.1 Whatever may have been the early origins of the disquiet in the hearts of Lucifer and Satan, the final explosion took the form of the Lucifer Declaration of Liberty. 

 The cause of the rebels was expressed under three headings: 

(603.3) 53:3.2 1. The reality of the Universal Father. Lucifer claimed that the Universal Father did not really exist, that physical gravity and space energy were inherent in the universe, and that the Father was a myth invented by the Paradise Sons in order to retain the government of the universes in the Father's name. He denied that personality was a gift of the Universal Father. 

 He even suggested that the finaliters were in collusion with the Paradise Sons to impose fraud upon all creation, since they never came back with a very clear idea of the true personality of the Father as discerned on Paradise. 

 He mistook reverence for ignorance. The accusation was enormous, terrible, and blasphemous. 

 It was this veiled attack upon the finaliters which doubtless influenced the then ascendant citizens of Jerusem to remain steadfast and steadfast in their resistance to all rebellious overtures. 

2. The universal government of the Creator Son - Michael. - Lucifer held that local systems should be autonomous. 

 He protested against the claim of Michael, the Creator Son, to the sovereignty of Nebadon in the name of a hypothetical Paradise Father and the requirement that all personalities acknowledge their allegiance to this invisible Father. 

 He asserted that the entire worship plan was a shrewd scheme to aggrandize the Paradise Sons. 

 He was willing to acknowledge Michael as their Creator Father, but not as their rightful God and ruler. 

(53:3.4 He attacked with great bitterness the right of the Ancients of Days-"foreign potentates"-to interfere in the affairs of the local systems and universes. He denounced these rulers as tyrants and usurpers. 

 He exhorted his followers to believe that none of these rulers could do anything to interfere with the operation of complete autonomy if men and angels had the courage to assert themselves and boldly claim their rights. 

(603.6) 53:3.5 He maintained that the enforcers of the Ancients of Days could be prevented from acting in the local systems if the native beings dared to assert their own independence. 

 He maintained that immortality was inherent in the system personalities, that resurrection was natural and automatic, and that all beings would live eternally except when prevented by arbitrary and unjust actions of the Ancients of Days enforcers. 

The attack on the universe plan of training ascending mortals-Lucifer contended that too much time and energy were expended in the scheme of so thoroughly training ascending mortals in the principles of universe administration, principles which he regarded as unethical but irrational. 

 He protested against the age-long program of preparing space mortals for an unknown destiny and pointed to the presence of the finaliters' corps on Jerusem as proof that these mortals had spent ages preparing for a destiny of pure fiction. 

 He mockingly pointed out that the finalists had met a fate no more glorious than that of returning to humble spheres similar to those of their own origin. 

 He suggested that too much discipline and prolonged training had corrupted them and that they were in reality traitors to their fellow mortals since they were now cooperating in a scheme of enslaving the entire creation to the fictions of a mythical eternal destiny for ascending mortals. 

 He advocated that ascenders should enjoy the freedom of individual self-determination. 

 He challenged and condemned the entire plan of mortal ascension as sponsored by the Paradise Sons of God and endorsed by the Infinite Spirit. 

(53:3.7 And it was with such a Declaration of Liberty that Lucifer launched his orgy of darkness and death. 

4. The Outbreak of the Rebellion 

(604.3) 53:4.1 The Lucifer manifesto was issued at the annual conclave of Satania on the sea of glass, in the presence of the assembled hosts of Jerusem, on the last day of the year, about two hundred thousand years ago, Earth time. 

 Satan proclaimed that the universal forces-physical, intellectual, and spiritual-could be worshiped, but that allegiance could only be paid to the present and present ruler, Lucifer, the "friend of men and angels" and the "God of liberty. 

(604.4) 53:4.2 Self-assertion was the battle cry of Lucifer's rebellion. 

 One of his chief arguments was that, if self-government was good and just for the Melchizedeks and other groups, it must be equally good for all orders of intelligence. 

 He was bold and persistent in advocating "equality of mind" and "brotherhood of intelligence." 

 He asserted that all government should be limited to local planets and their voluntary confederation in local systems. 

 He rejected all other supervision. 

 He promised the Planetary Princes that they would rule the worlds as supreme executives. 

 He denounced the location of legislative activities on the constellation headquarters and the conduct of judicial business on the universe capital. 

 He maintained that all these functions of government should be concentrated in the system capitals and proceeded to establish his own legislative assembly and organized his own courts under Satan's jurisdiction. 

 And he called upon the princes of the apostate worlds to do likewise. 

(604.5) 53:4.3 Lucifer's entire administrative cabinet followed him, and all were publicly sworn in as officers of the administration of the new chief of "liberated worlds and systems." 

(53:4.4 Although there have been two previous rebellions in Nebadon, they occurred in distant constellations. 

 Lucifer maintained that these insurrections had not succeeded because the majority of intelligences failed to follow their leaders. 

 He believed that "government belongs to the majority," that "mind is infallible. 

 The freedom afforded him by the universal rulers apparently helped to fuel many of his nefarious views. 

 He defied all his superiors; yet they did not seem to take note of his actions. 

 He was allowed to pursue his seductive plan without hindrance or restraint. 

(605.2) 53:4.5 All merciful delays of justice were pointed out by Lucifer as proof of the inability of the Paradise Sons to stop rebellion. 

 He openly and arrogantly challenged Michael, Immanuel, the Ancients of Days, and then pointed to the fact that no action had taken place, as proof positive of the impotence of the universal and superuniverse governments. 

(605.3) 53:4.6 Gabriel was personally present throughout all these disloyal proceedings and only announced that he would, in due time, speak for Michael, and that all beings would be free and undisturbed in their choice; that the "government of the Sons in the Father's name only desired voluntary, sincere, and sophistry-proof loyalty and devotion." 

(605.4) 53:4.7 Lucifer was permitted to fully establish and fully organize his rebel government, before Gabriel made any effort to contest his right of secession or to counteract the rebel propaganda. 

 But the Constellation Fathers immediately confined the action of these disloyal personalities to the Satania system. 

 However, this delay was a period of great trial and testing for loyal beings throughout Satania. For several years all was chaotic, and there was great confusion on the mansion worlds. 

5. The Nature of the Conflict 

(53:5.1 When the Satania rebellion broke out, Michael took counsel with his Paradise brother, Immanuel. 

 After this plethoric conference, Michael announced that he would follow the same policy which had characterized his dealings in similar uprisings in the past, that is, an attitude of noninterference. 

(53:5.2 At the time of this and the two preceding rebellions there was no absolute and personal sovereign authority in the universe of Nebadon. 

 Michael ruled by divine right, as vicegerent of the Universal Father, but not yet by his own personal right. 

 He had not yet completed his bestowal career; he had not yet been granted "all power in heaven and on earth. 

(605.7) 53:5.3 From the time the rebellion broke out until the day of his coronation as ruler of Nebadon, Michael never interfered with the rebellious forces of Lucifer; they were permitted to run a free course for nearly two hundred thousand years of earth time. 

 Christ Michael now has ample power and authority to deal promptly and even summarily with such outbreaks of disloyalty, but we do not believe that this sovereign authority will lead him to act differently if another such uprising should occur. 

(605.8) 53:5.4 Since Michael chose to stand aloof from the war activity of the Lucifer rebellion, Gabriel summoned his personal staff to Edentia and, on the advice of the Most Highs, elected to assume command of the loyal hosts of Satania. 

 Michael remained on Salvington while Gabriel proceeded to Jerusem, and establishing himself on the sphere dedicated to the Father-the same Universal Father whose personality Lucifer and Satan questioned-in the presence of the assembled hosts of loyal personalities, he hoisted Michael's banner, the material emblem of the Trinitarian government of all creation, the three blue concentric circles on a white background. 

(606.1) 53:5.5 Lucifer's emblem was a white flag with a red circle, in the center of which appeared a solid black circle. 

(606.2) 53:5.6 "There was war in the heavens; Michael's commander and his angels fought against the dragon (Lucifer, Satan, and the apostate princes); and the dragon and his rebellious angels fought but did not prevail." 

 This "war in the heavens" was not a physical battle as it can be conceived of on earth. 

 In the early days of the struggle Lucifer remained continuously in the planetary amphitheater.

 Gabriel conducted a ceaseless exposition of the rebel sophistries from his headquarters located nearby. 

 The various personalities present in the sphere who were in doubt as to their attitude moved from place to place, listening to the dissertations until a final decision was reached. 

(53:5.7 But this war in the heavens was very terrible and very real. 

 While exhibiting none of the barbarities so characteristic of physical warfare on the immature worlds, this conflict was far more deadly; material life is endangered in material combat, but the war in the heavens was fought on eternal-life terms. 

6. A Loyal Seraphic Commander 

(606.4) 53:6.1 There were many noble and inspiring acts of devotion and loyalty performed by numerous personalities during the period between the outbreak of hostilities and the arrival of the new system ruler and his staff. 

 But the most thrilling of all these valiant feats of devotion was the courageous conduct of Manotia, second in the line of command of the seraphim of the headquarters of Satania. 

(53:6.2 When rebellion broke out on Jerusem, the chief of the seraphic hosts espoused the cause of Lucifer. 

 This undoubtedly explains why so large a number of the fourth order, the system-administrator seraphim, went astray. 

 The seraphic leadership was spiritually blinded by Lucifer's brilliant personality; his charming ways fascinated the lower orders of celestial beings. 

 They simply could not comprehend that it was possible for such a dazzling personality to err. 

(606.6) 53:6.3 Not long ago, in describing the experiences associated with the beginning of the Lucifer rebellion, Manotia said: "But the most intoxicating moment was the thrilling adventure connected with the Lucifer rebellion when, as second seraphic commander, I refused to participate in the Michael grievance project; and the mighty rebels attempted to destroy me by means of the liaison forces which they had formed.

 There was a tremendous uprising in Jerusem, but not one of the loyal seraphim was harmed. 

(606.7) 53:6.4 "When the absence of my immediate superior occurred, it fell to me to assume command of the angelic hosts of Jerusem as the titular director of the confused seraphic affairs of the system. 

 The Melchizedeks supported me morally, a majority of the Material Sons ably assisted me. 

 A huge group of my own order deserted me, but the ascending mortals on Jerusem supported me magnificently. 

(606.8) 53:6. 5 "Having been automatically dismissed from the constellation circuits by Lucifer's secession, we depended upon the loyalty of our information corps, which relayed the calls for help to Edentia from the nearby system of Rantulia; and we found that the reign of order, the intellect of loyalty, and the spirit of truth were inherently triumphant over rebellion, self-assertion, and so-called personal freedom; we were able to proceed until the arrival of the new System Sovereign, Lucifer's worthy successor. 

 Immediately thereafter, I was assigned to the corps of the Melchizedek receivers of earth, taking jurisdiction over the loyal seraphic orders on the world of the treacherous Caligastia, who had proclaimed his sphere to be a part of the new draft system of 'liberated worlds and emancipated personalities' proposed in the infamous Declaration of Liberty issued by Lucifer in his appeal to the 'freedom-loving, free-thinking, and visionary intelligences on the misgoverned and mismanaged worlds of Satania' (607.1). 

(607.1) 53:6.6 This angel still serves on earth, acting as associate chief of the seraphim. 

7. The History of the Rebellion 

(607.2) 53:7.1 The Lucifer rebellion was system-wide. 

Thirty-seven seceding Planetary Princes surrendered the administrations of their worlds to the ranks of the archrebel. 

In all 37 planets were isolated in quarantine since the rebellion, all these worlds are being restored to the universe circuits during the dispensation of the present times.

 Only on Panoptia did the Planetary Prince fail to drag his people into rebellion. 

 On this world, under the guidance of the Melchizedeks the people rallied in support of Michael. 

 Elanora, a young woman of that mortal realm, took the leadership of the human races, and not a single soul of that strife-torn world enlisted under the banner of Lucifer. 

 And ever since that time, these loyal panoptians have served on the seventh transition world of Jerusem as caretakers and builders on the Father's sphere and on its seven surrounding detention worlds. 

 The panoptians not only act as literal custodians of these worlds, but they also execute Michael's personal orders for the embellishment of these spheres for an unknown utilization of the future. 

They do this work as they pause there on the way to Edentia. 

(53:7.2 Throughout this period Caligastia was advocating the cause of Lucifer on earth. 

 The Melchizedeks ably opposed the apostate Planetary Prince, but the sophistries of unrestrained liberty and the illusions of self-assertion had every opportunity to deceive the primitive peoples of a young and undeveloped world. 

(607.4) 53:7.3 Propaganda for secession had to be carried on by personal effort, for the broadcast service and all other avenues of interplanetary communication had been suspended by action of the system circuit supervisors. 

 At the time of the outbreak of the insurrection, the entire Satania system was cut off from the constellation circuits and also from those of the universe. 

 During this period, all incoming and outgoing messages were dispatched by seraphic agents and Solitary Messengers. 

 The circuits to the fallen worlds were also cut off, so that Lucifer could not use this avenue to further his nefarious scheme. 

 And as long as the archrebel lives within the confines of Satania these circuits will not be re-established. 

(607.5) 53:7.4 This was a Lanonandek rebellion. 

The higher orders of local universe sonship did not join in the Lucifer secession, although some of the Life Carriers stationed on the rebel planets were somewhat influenced by the rebellion of the disloyal princes. 

 None of the Trinitized Sons went astray. 

The Melchizedeks, the archangels, and the Bright Evening Stars all remained loyal to Michael and, with Gabriel, fought valiantly for the Father's will and the Son's rule.

(53:7.5 No Paradise-origin being participated in disloyalty. 

 Together with the Solitary Messengers, they established their headquarters on the Spirit world and remained under the leadership of the Faithful of Days on Edentia. 

 None of the conciliators betrayed, nor did a single one of the Celestial Recorders go astray. 

 But there were great losses among the Morontia Companions and the Masters of the Mansion Worlds. 

(53:7.6 Of the supreme order of seraphim, not a single angel was lost, but a considerable group of the next order, the higher order, were misled and deceived. 

 Likewise some of the third or supervising order of angels were led astray. 

 But the terrible collapse occurred in the fourth group, the administrator angels, that is, the seraphim who are normally assigned to the service of the system capitals. 

 Manotia saved nearly two-thirds of them, but a little more than one-third followed their leader by joining the rebel ranks. 

 One-third of all the cherubim of Jerusem attached to the angel administrators were lost to their disloyal seraphim. 

(608.3) 53:7.7 Of the planetary angelic auxiliaries, those assigned to the Material Sons, about one third were deceived, and nearly ten per cent of the transition ministers were duped. 

 John saw this symbolically when he wrote of the great red dragon, saying, "And his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and cast them into darkness." 

(608.4) 53:7.8 The greatest loss occurred in the angelic ranks, but most of the lower orders of intelligence participated in the disloyalty. 

 Of the 681,217 Material Sons lost on Satania, ninety-five per cent were lost in the Lucifer rebellion. 

 Great numbers of midwayers were lost on the individual planets whose Planetary Princes espoused the cause of Lucifer. 

(53:7.9 In many respects this rebellion was the most disastrous and of the greatest magnitude of all these events in Nebadon. 

 There were more personalities engaged in this insurrection than in the other two combined. 

 It is to their eternal dishonor that the emissaries of Lucifer and Satan did not except the infant training nurseries on the finaliter cultural planet, but rather attempted to corrupt these mercifully saved developing minds of the evolutionary worlds. 

(608.6) 53:7.10 Ascending mortals were vulnerable, but they resisted the sophistries of rebellion better than did the lower spirits. 

 While many fell on the lower mansion worlds, those who had not attained final fusion with their Adjusters, it is recorded to the glory of the wisdom of the ascension scheme that not a single one of the ascendant citizenry of Satania resident on Jerusem participated in the Lucifer rebellion. 

(608.7) 53:7. 11 Hour after hour and day after day the broadcasting stations throughout Nebadon were crowded with eager observers of every conceivable class of celestial intelligences, who eagerly perused the bulletins of the Satania rebellion and rejoiced to hear continually narrated reports of the uncompromising loyalty of the ascendant mortals who, under Melchizedek leadership, triumphed in their resistance to the combined and prolonged efforts of all the subtle forces of evil which had so rapidly rallied under the banner of secession and sin. 

(53:7.12 More than two years of system time elapsed between the beginning of the "war in heaven" and the installation of Lucifer's successor. 

 But finally the new Sovereign arrived on the sea of glass with his entourage. 

 I was among the reserves mobilized on Edentia by Gabriel, and I remember well Lanaforge's first message to the Constellation Father of Norlatiadek. It said, "Not a single citizen of Jerusem has been lost. 

 All ascending mortals survived the ordeal and emerged from the crucial test triumphant and victorious." 

 And this message reached Salvington, Uversa, and Paradise, conveying the assurance that the experience of surviving mortal ascension is the greatest protection against rebellion and the surest safeguard against sin. 

 This noble group of faithful Jerusem mortals numbered 187,432,811. 

(53:7.13 With the arrival of Lanaforge the archrebels were overthrown and deprived of all ruling power, although they were permitted to move freely about Jerusem, the morontia spheres, and even the various inhabited worlds. 

 They continued their efforts of deception and seduction to confuse and mislead the minds of men and angels. 

 But as for their task on the administrative mountain of Jerusem, "there was found no place for them. 

(609.2) 53:7.14 Although Lucifer was deprived of all administrative authority in Satania, there was at that time no local universe power or tribunal which could arrest or destroy this evil rebel; Michael was not at that time a sovereign ruler. 

 The Ancients of Days supported the Constellation Fathers in taking over the system government, but they have never rendered any subsequent decision in the many appeals still pending concerning the present status and future disposition of Lucifer, Satan, and their associates. 

(609.3) 53:7.15 Thus these archrebels were able to roam throughout the system in search of the further inroads of their doctrines of discontent and self-assertion. 

 But in nearly two hundred thousand Earth years they have been unable to deceive another world. 

 No Satania world has been lost since the fall of the thirty-seven, not even those younger worlds that were populated after the day of the rebellion. 

8. The Son of Man on Earth 

(53:8.1 Lucifer and Satan freely roamed the Satania system until the completion of Michael's bestowal mission on earth. 

 They were together on your world for the last time at the time of their combined attack upon the Son of Man. 

(53:8.2 Formerly, when the Planetary Princes, the "Sons of God," periodically assembled, "Satan also concurred," claiming to represent all the isolated worlds of the fallen Planetary Princes. 

 But, since Michael's final bestowal, he was never again accorded such freedom on Jerusem. 

 Subsequent to their efforts to corrupt Michael during his bestowal in the flesh, all sympathy for Lucifer and Satan has perished throughout Satania, that is, outside the isolated worlds of sin. 

(53:8.3 The bestowal (birth in the flesh as the Son of Man) of Michael (Jesus) ended the Lucifer rebellion throughout all Satania outside of the planets of the apostate Planetary Princes. 

 And this was the meaning of Jesus' personal experience shortly before his death in the flesh when he one day exclaimed to his disciples: "And I behold Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 

He had gone to earth with Lucifer for one last crucial contest. 

(53:8.4 The Son of Man was confident of success, and he knew that his triumph on your world would forever establish the status of his age-long foes, not only in Satania but also in the other two systems where sin had penetrated. 

 There was survival for mortals and certainty for angels when your Master, in response to Lucifer's overtures, calmly and with divine certainty replied, "Go after me, Satan. 

That was, in principle, the true end of Lucifer's rebellion. 

 It is true that the courts of Uversa have not yet rendered the executive decision regarding Gabriel's appeal requesting the destruction of the rebels, but such a decree will undoubtedly be issued in the fullness of time, since the first step in the adjudication of this case has already been taken. 

(53:8.5 The Son of Man recognized Caligastia as technical Prince of Earth until near the time of his death. 

 Jesus said: "Now is the judgment of this world; now shall the Prince of this world fall. 

Then still nearer the completion of his life mission he announced: "The Prince of this world is judged". 

And it is this same overthrown and discredited Prince who was once called "God of Earth." 

(53:8.6 Michael's last action before leaving earth was to offer mercy to Caligastia and Daligastia, but they spurned his tender offer. 

 Caligastia, your apostate Planetary Prince, is still free on earth to pursue his nefarious designs, but he has absolutely no power to enter the minds of men, nor can he approach their souls to tempt or corrupt them unless they really desire to be cursed by his evil presence. 

(53:8.7 Prior to the bestowal of Michael these rulers of darkness sought to maintain their authority on earth, and they persistently resisted the lesser and subordinate personalities. 

 But as of the day of Pentecost, this treacherous Caligastia and his equally despicable associate, Daligastia, are subservient to the divine majesty of the Spirit of the Father-the Paradise Thought Adjusters-and the protecting Spirit of Truth-the spirit of Michael (Jesus), which has been poured out upon all flesh. 

(610.4) 53:8.8 But even so, no fallen spirit ever had the power to invade the minds or harass the souls of God's children. 

 Neither Satan nor Caligastia could touch or approach the children of God by faith; faith is an effectual armor against sin and iniquity. 

It is true: "He who is born of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him." 

(610.5) 53:8.9 In general, when weak and dissolute mortals are supposed to be under the influence of devils and demons they are merely dominated by their own inherent and base tendencies, being led astray by their own natural propensities. 

 The devil has been credited with much evil that does not belong to him. 

 Caligastia has been comparatively impotent since the cross of Christ. 

9. The Present State of the Rebellion 

(610.6) 53:9.1 In the early days of Lucifer's rebellion Michael offered salvation to all rebels. 

 To all who would show sincere repentance, he offered, as soon as he attained full universe sovereignty, pardon and restoration to some form of universe service. 

 None of the leaders accepted this merciful offer. 

 But thousands of the angels and the lower orders of celestial beings, including hundreds of Material Sons and Daughters, accepted the mercy proclaimed by the Panoptians and were granted rehabilitation at the time of Jesus' resurrection nineteen hundred years ago. 

 These beings have since been transferred to the Father's world of Jerusem, where they are to remain, technically, until the Uversa courts render a decision in the Gabriel vs. Lucifer docket. 

 But no one doubts that, when the verdict of annihilation is rendered, these repentant and saved personalities will be exempted from the decree of extinction. 

 These probationary souls are now working with the Panoptians in the task of caring for the Father's world. 

(53:9.2 The archdeceiver has not been on earth since the days when he attempted to divert Michael from the purpose of completing the bestowal and finally and certainly establishing himself as the unconditional ruler of Nebadon. 

 When Michael (Jesus) became the established ruler of the universe of Nebadon, Lucifer was arrested by the agents of the Ancients of Days of Uversa and has since been imprisoned on the number one satellite of the Father's group of the transition spheres of Jerusem. 

 And here the rulers of other worlds contemplate the end of the unfaithful Sovereign of Satania. 

 Paul knew the status of these rebellious leaders after Michael's bestowal, for he wrote of the Caligastia chiefs that they were "spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenlies." 

(611.2) 53:9.3 Upon assuming the supreme sovereignty of Nebadon, Michael requested of the Ancients of Days the authority to intern all personalities who participated in the Lucifer rebellion pending the decisions of the superuniverse tribunals in the judgment of Gabriel vs. Lucifer, recorded in the records of the supreme court of Uversa nearly two hundred thousand years ago, in your measure of time. 

 As to the system capital group, the Ancients of Days granted Michael's request with only one exception: Satan was permitted to make periodic visits to the apostate princes on the fallen worlds until another Son of God was accepted by these apostate worlds, or until such time as the Uversa tribunals should commence the adjudication of the case of Gabriel vs. Lucifer. 

(53:9.4 Satan could come to earth because there was no Son of high standing in residence-neither a Planetary Prince nor a Material Son. 

 Machiventa Melchizedek has since been proclaimed vicegerent Planetary Prince of Earth, and the opening of the case of Gabriel vs. Lucifer has pointed to the inauguration of planetary temporal regimes on all the isolated worlds. 

 It is true that Satan periodically visited Caligastia and other of the fallen Princes up to the time of the presentation of these revelations, at which time the first hearing of the application filed by Gabriel for the annihilation of the archrebels occurred. 

 Satan is now unconditionally detained on the prison worlds of Jerusem. 

(611.4) 53:9.5 Since Michael's final bestowal no one in all Satania has desired to go to the prison worlds to minister to the interned rebels. 

 And no other being has been attracted to the traitor's cause. For more than nineteen hundred years this condition has not changed. 

(611.5) 53:9.6 We do not anticipate the removal of the present Satania restrictions until the Ancients of Days make their final disposition of the archrebels. 

 The system circuits will not be reestablished so long as Lucifer lives. In the meantime, he is wholly inactive. 

(53:9.7 The rebellion is over on Jerusem. It ends on the fallen worlds as soon as the Divine Sons arrive. 

 We believe that all rebels who could at any time accept mercy have already done so. 

 We await the issuance of the report of the decision which will deprive these traitors of personality existence. 

 We anticipate that the verdict of Uversa will be pronounced by executive transmission which will effect the annihilation of these interned rebels. 

 Thereafter, you will seek their places, but you will not find them. "And those who know you among the worlds will be frightened at the sight of you; you have been a terror, but you will never ever be a terror again." 

 Thus all these special traitors "shall be as though they had never been." They all await the decree of Uversa.

(53:9.8 But for many ages the seven prison worlds of spiritual darkness in Satania have constituted a solemn warning to all Nebadon, eloquently and effectively proclaiming the great truth that "the way of the transgressor is hard"; that "every sin contains the seed of its own destruction"; that "the wages of sin is death.
